Chibundle: Showcasing Filipino Specialty Foods and Handcrafted Goods in a Gift Box

Gifting is now made easy with Chibundle! #Chibundle stands for “chibog” meaning “to eat” or “food” in Filipino slang + “bundle”. Owned by M.J. Yap, it is a service that curates bundles featuring different specialty foods and handcrafted goods all sourced from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) based in the Philippines. It also partners with Filipino artists in coming up with designs used for greeting cards. These gift boxes serve as bridges for introducing authentic Filipino goodies to the American market.

In this So Cool segment, M.J talks more about Chibundle and how it began, her struggles as an immigrant and entrepreneur, her purpose in collaborating with Philippine small businesses, and some of Chibundle’s in demand items!
