Jannelle So
Jannelle has been working in the entertainment industry for nearly two decades — jumpstarting her career as a sportscaster in the Philippines before moving to the US.
In 2006, she was given the opportunity to create, produce and host Kababayan LA / Today, the first and only locally-produced daily talk show for Filipinos in the USA. Regarded as a pioneer in Filipino-American media, it successfully ran for eight and a half years, the longest-running daily Filipino talk show outside of the Philippines, before leaving the show in 2014 to start a family.
After 3 years, Jannelle is once again back on TV with a weekly talk/magazine show called SoJannelleTV with its mission to highlight stories of immigration and representation to entertain and inspire. The show features diverse guests from various backgrounds – artists, performers, celebrities, public officials, entrepreneurs, and global Filipinos with extraordinary stories. Previous guests include Jo Koy, Apl.de.Ap, Blues Clues & You’s Josh Dela Cruz, Miss Nevada USA 2021 Kataluna Enriquez, Filipino boy band SB19, and loveteam Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, and more.
