SoJannelleTV takes over New York City! To kick off our NYC adventures, we explore a boutique called Side B located at 3612 34th Ave, Astoria, Queens. Owned by Lyn Chin, Side B was launched in the middle of the pandemic to support small batch makers, start-ups, and businesses founded by women, POC, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Initially this wasn’t something that Lyn planned on doing. However, having the heart to help the people and makers in her neighborhood, little by little she started selling products on their behalf. This led to a successful turnout of her store which opened doors for curating all sorts of gifts and local finds. It also plays a pivotal role in promoting inclusivity and uplifting small businesses in the community.
