It’s #SoHappening! Two artists, two art forms collaborating for a theatrical online experience like no other.
Filipino-American pride #LolitaValderramaSavage, whose paintings have brought her around the world is collaborating with #TeatroGrattacielo Artistic Director, Stefanos Koroneos for a masterful performance in September 2021. “Tableaux of Amico Fritz” is a beautiful marriage of opera and fine art – featuring the music of Pietro Mascagni, and the paintings of Lolita.
The creative collaboration started when Stefanos came across the masterpieces of Lolita. Her paintings exuding love and happiness blew him, immediately he knew these would be the perfect mix to his music. While, Lolita growing up from a musically-inclined family, shares how music affects her painting process. With their love for the arts and the passion to share and inspire everyone, transcending race and culture, their joint efforts and resources bring about an opera musical-visual arts experience for everyone to enjoy!
