The pandemic has definitely made us rethink how to move forward with our lives. And for Filipino Footballer Anton del Rosario, it involved having to uproot his family from the Philippines to move to Los Angeles which wasn’t easy as you think.
In this #SoCool Episode, we sit down with Anton to discover what it feels like to be a two-time immigrant who was born and raised in the Bay Area, moved to the Philippines during his teen years, and now back in the West Coast together with his wife and son. Discover how he faced the challenges of starting fresh, one of which is having no credit which made it hard for him to make purchases and even open up a bank account.
Despite the change in landscape, one thing remains the same and that is his love for the sport of Football. Learn how he still manages to lead a community-building league back in the Philippines and how he plans to kick this off in the Bay Area and LA.
