Promoting Friendship & FilAm Businesses at Philippine American Friendship Day

Food has always been a traditional staple of Filipino culture. Apart from it being embedded in our heritage, it’s also a symbol for us to connect and bring people together. As we continue to feature more highlights from Philippine American Friendship Day, this segment will focus more on the various food vendors and product booths that participated in the event.

A total of 62 booths – ranging from food, retail, and non-profit, were present in this celebration. This festival has become a means to support the Filipino American community and be able to promote their own businesses.

Elise Jordan Blanco, CEO of Vibrant Wellness US Trading LLC, believes that it’s important to celebrate and participate in Philippine American Friendship Day because it’s a good platform to showcase amazing Filipino products that they can offer to the community.

Yeng & Avonne, owners of The Embotidos, add that this event keeps them grounded because it reminds them of their roots and they get to take pride in sharing Filipino food to non-Filipinos.
