There’s nothing more heart warming than seeing the Filipino-American community come together for a good cause. This is what took place at the HiFi Holiday Festival 2022 at RideBack Ranch, an event organized by non-profit Filipinos Advancing Creative Education (F.A.C.E.).
Now on its 2nd year, the festival has become bigger with more engagement with the community which led to more booths and activities from small businesses and non-profit organizations. Music was in the air with performances from Ror and Ella Jay Basco, Jon Jon and Teo Briones, and Jej Vinson to name a few. The event was also graced by the presence of Simu Liu, popularly known for his role as Shang-Chi, and Patrick Starrr, beauty guru and owner of One Size.
For Part 1 of this So On The Go episode, we give you the event highlights by featuring the people, businesses, and organizations involved. Also, Lyle Del Mundo of F.A.C.E. shares with us the plan of launching programs such as the Financial Literacy for Creatives and the Creative Grant.
