FilAm Alerts: A Response to Humanitarian Crisis in the Philippines

FilAm Alerts is a project of the National Federation of Filipino-American Associations (NaFFAA) in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and funded by the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.

In this So On The Go segment, we learn more about NaFFAA’s historical initiative — a first of its kind in the community. Its mission is to respond to calamity-stricken Filipinos back in the Philippines by uniting the efforts of Filipino-American diasporas in the US in order to make a greater impact.
