The pandemic lockdown has put a halt to events and gatherings for the past two years. And now that we’re slowly adapting to the new normal, the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra went back onstage last August 20 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with their concert entitled ‘CELEBRATION!’. Led by Maestro Robert Shroder, the concert gives tribute to Jose Mari Chan and his achievements in the music industry through @fasothefilipinoamericansym5010’s own interpretation and arrangement of the OPM legend’s popular hits.
In this So On The Go segment, we feature some of the highlights from this special event as well as performances by the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra featuring The Philipine Meistersingers.
