In this segment of So Local we invited Noel Omega, Regional chair of the National federation of Filipino American Associations.
But what exactly is the purpose of NaFFAA? Noel tells us that NaFFAA aims to “reach out, bring out various skillsets, come together as a people”
Noel states that what NaFFAA differs from other organizations are:
- NaFFAA provides all encompassing coverage to its members
- it is an empowerment organization
- it is geared for Filipino/ Filipino-americans
- the organization is 4 Million plus strong
NaFFAA also offers a fundraiser called Bayanihan NaFFAA: Tabang Bicol – A fundraiser for the victims of Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses i n Bicol.
