Power Pinay Jennifer Taylor talks about her power as a woman and a Filipina

Continuing our celebration of #InternationalWomensMonth, we sat down with Jennifer Taylor, a firecracker in the real estate industry. Currently, the Board President and co-founder of industry organization Filipinos in Institution Real Estate (FIIRE) and co-founding board member of the LA chapter of African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) and Commercial Real Estate Diversity Coalition (CREDC), Jennifer shares the key to her success in her career, family life, and community outreach.

On top of her stellar career in the urban landscape, Jennifer has co-founded Swirls for Girls, a diversity and enrichment program for multicultural girls based in LA. She is also the Board VP of Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA), one of the oldest and largest community-based organizations serving the Filipino community out of Historic Filipinotown in LA.

As a woman and a Filipina, Jennifer uses these traits as tools in her arsenal, making sure to use them to her advantage. She stresses the role visibility plays in inspiring the next generation to pursue success, and ever the #PowerPinay, Jennifer arms Filipinos with the right resources through the communities she leads.
