The California State Library Partners With Ethnic Media Groups to #StopTheHate

The California State Library serves as the central reference and research library for the state government and Legislature. It’s known for collecting, preserving, generating and disseminating information — from historic writings to present-day literature.

In our #SoInformed segment, CA State Librarian Greg Lucas enlightens us with the goals of their ethnic media grants on connecting more as one community to fight against hate crimes and educate people on how to utilize their available resources in reporting incidents. They are also persistent on their mission to spread diversity and equality with what they do, along with gathering more ethnic media representatives to help spread information and educate people to instill empathy and understanding for one another.
