How the Consulate can Support Victims of Hate Crimes

The #consulate doesn’t just help with visas and passports when you immigrate to the US. The consulate can also provide support if you experience hate crimes. You can get financial assistance, help finding a lawyer, navigating local laws, reporting to law enforcement and most importantly amplification to get your case the attention it needs.

This resource is supported in whole or in part by funding provided by the State of California, administered by the #CaliforniaStateLibrary in partnership with the California Department of Social Services and the California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs as part of the #StoptheHate program. To report a hate incident or hate crime and get support, go to CA vs Hate.

☎️ Call 833-8-NO-HATE or visit www.CAvsHate.org to report an incident and get support. Don’t stay silent!
