Kabataan Culture: Preserving Heritage and Inspiring Change

In this #SoCool segment, we sat down with Mari-anne Miralles, M.A., the inspiring force behind Kabataan Culture, a non-profit organization dedicated to Filipino enrichment.

She believes that the spirit of kabataan, which means “youth” in Filipino, transcends age. Whether you’re five or 85, that childlike joy resides within you.

And guess what? You don’t have to be Filipino to be a part of their incredible program. It’s open to anyone eager to learn a new language and embrace Filipino culture.

Want to learn more? Kabataan Culture will be at the Kids Zone Area on July 15 for the grand celebration of LA County’s Largest Philippine American Friendship Day.

In addition to the learning activities planned, there will be crafts, books, and even mini-golf to enjoy. See you there!
