MUPH2022 #CelesteCortesi is a force to be reckoned with. After joining a number of pageants in both Italy and in the Philippines, she is more than ready to represent us in the upcoming 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans.
In this So Candid episode, Celeste sits down with Jannelle in this exclusive one-on-one interview as she gets raw and personal before the most beautiful day in the universe.
At age 17, Celeste first joined local beauty contests in Italy without her mom’s knowledge. And after getting more involved with pageants, she then learned the true meaning behind the glitz and glamour and that is to reign with purpose.
Celeste also shares the turning point of her pageantry life which happens to be the moment when #PiaWurtzbach won in 2015. Drawing inspiration from her win, Celeste decided to move to the Philippines with a dream of representing the country one day in Miss Universe. And after much hardwork and dedication, Celeste is on her way to win the crown, making her a true testament that if you work hard for your dream, it will come true.
