We’re back with another feature with #AplDeAp — here to catch up with us on what he’s been up to as a proud Pinoy musician who’s been given the opportunity to create music as a solo artist and as part of the world-renowned group Black Eyed Peas. He tells us that early on in his career, he wrote Filipino songs which he didn’t think would make it to their group album; but was encouraged when his best friend, will.i.am who heard it and told him it would be perfect for their early BEP album!
To his surprise, these songs made their way to the top with the great amount of support coming from the Filipino community. Other than that, he gives a sneak peek of #BEPElevation which will be out on 11/11 – featuring collabs with fellow Filipino artists Bella Poarch, J. Rey Soul, and Nicole Scherzinger. He also mentions his collaboration with Mostra Coffee with a mission to give back to the local farming community in the Philippines.
