Kicking off the Holidays with FASO’s “Splendor Of Christmas”

The Filipino American Symphonic Orchestra (FASO) presents the Splendor of Christmas, a musical experience filled with holiday classics and timeless Filipino Christmas songs held last December 3, 2022 at the Aratani Theatre.

In this first part of this So On The Go episode, we get to hear a few testimonials from the people behind FASO who have been looking forward to seeing this show come to life and in-person. They also shared how this concert has become an opportunity to feature the youth string ensemble and junior orchestra from their education program.

Overall, this concert is to encourage Filipino-Americans to hold unto their Filipino values and traditions while giving back to the community through performances like this to fund workshops and scholarships to underserved children in the community.
