Eumir, 25 years old from Zamboanga City, first gained international attention when he won a Silver medal at the 2019 Amateur World Championship and a Gold medal in the Olympic Qualifiers.
Ever since Eumir was a kid, he was trained by his father and has been dreaming of getting a gold medal in the Olympics.
Eumir has signed with MP Promotions, founded by Manny Pacquiao. He has been training in Los Angeles with Freddie Roach to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Tokyo Olympics 2021 is happening on July 23rd, 2021.
