With his fabulous, feathered costumes and incredible pageant showstoppers, #LudoGarnier has worked the most prestigious #beautypageants and television competitions in the world. So, it makes sense that he has chosen to bring his design company—Ludo Creations—to the creative cauldron that is Los Angeles.
Born and raised in Belgium, Mr. Garnier worked extensively in Paris before coming to So Cal in 2016. Since moving to Los Angeles, Mr. Garnier has jumped into the local scene with both feet—creating the dazzling National Costume worn by Miss California in the Miss United States competition, 2017, and then for the grand opening of the Dream Hotel at Tao, Hollywood— both a breathtaking Marie Antoinette-inspired confection of feathers and pearls and a stunningly bejeweled geisha.
More recently, Mr. Garnier was the featured designer of the 2019 Miss Filipina International and Miss Filipina Teen International beauty pageants. In fact, at the press presentation of candidates on June 23rd in Porsche, Downtown Los Angeles, all the gowns for the teens and misses—as well as the costumes of the reigning title-holders— were his designs.
