Born Without Any Arms Jessica Cox Shares Her Inspiring Story of Disability & Ability

Our New York-based correspondent, Elton Lugay, witnessed Jessica Cox’s arrival at JFK with her 1946 Ercoupe in steed because of her speaking engagements with aviation IT specialist Sita Aero.

Due to a rare birth defect, Jessica was born without arms. But this did not stop her from becoming the world’s first licensed armless pilot and the American Taekwondo Association’s first armless black belt. What a badass!

After facing her fears and triumphantly reaching her dreams to fly, she serves as an inspiration and a pillar in the community by sharing her experiences in hopes of inspiring others with her infectious determination and perseverance. Jessica continues to share her experiences in conquering physical barriers as a motivational speaker and life coach with her nonprofit organization, Rightfooted Foundation International.

Rightfooted Foundation aims to enable individuals to overcome their disabilities and live to their full potential. You can donate to her organization here: https://jessicacox.com/foundation/

And like kismet, Jessica celebrated “Limb Difference Airport Day,” a project launched by her foundation to support people with disabilities, and proved that we are not limited by our physical limitations.
