#KurtTijamo took up Classical Voice / Performance at California State University Northridge. He’s performed for opera and theater, and is a sought-after baritone. He considers it a privilege to be able to portray characters on stage, interpreting classics and songs that have touched millions of audiences through the years.

The 28 year old #FilipinoAmerican grew up surrounded by music, and considers himself blessed to have the encouragement and support of his parents. His father is a pianist, and his Filipino mother’s side also loves music — and even introduced him to one of his favorite classic OPM songs – “Mr DJ” by Sharon Cuneta. Kurt’s grandfather (Lolo) is a WWII veteran who fought in the Philippines against the Japanese Army, and awarded a United States citizenship for their service.
