✅ “Every immigrant family has a story, and when you put those stories together, they make our #FilipinoAmericanhistory,” says #AlexFabros Jr., renowned Filipino American historian.

Mr. Fabros is a former Professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University, and in 1992, he established the Filipino American Experience Research Project. As a young man, Mr. Fabros worked as a migrant farmer, before was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps in 1965.

Mr. Fabros grew up in the City of Salinas and earned an MA in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University, an MA in History and completed his Ph.D. studies at University California Santa Barbara. He is also a graduate of the Monterey Defense Language Institute obtaining proficiency and certifications in Chinese Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese. Mr. Fabros currently resides in Fresno California.
