Filipino Pineapple Silk finds an advocate in NYC

While representing clients, Fil-Am lawyer / entrepreneur #RandyGonzales also represents Filipino culture through the clothes he wears every day.

He founded Pineapple Industries, a “full service made-to-measure and custom Barong Tagalog brand for all people, regardless of gender, gender identification and gender expression, established in 2017.” In his futile attempt to find the perfect Barong Tagalog (men’s formal wear in the Philippines) to suit him, he went to the Philippines in 2015 and followed his calling to produce this very Filipino customary garment for his US-based clients made of piña or #pineapplesilk.

Find out more about how @pineappleindm2m is bringing the Philippine national garment to an international audience, and making the beloved #BarongTagalog accessible and relevant to today’s generation, while supporting garment workers in the Philippines, their families, and communities. He also shares some practical tips on how to take care of this Philippine fashionable wear.
