Did you know that about 20% of the City of Carson’s total population is Filipino? The community here is very active, proactive, involved and engaged. #MayorProTemJimDear recognizes Filipino-Americans as a stabilizing force in his city that’s why he initiated to set-up a yearly community day to celebrate #PhilippineAmericanFriendshipDay .
This year, the Philippine American Friendship Day will be held at the Carson Civic Center on July 11th 2021. This will be the first-ever LIVE event in the #CityofCarson after the pandemic. Watch the sneak peek of what the city and organizers are preparing for this special day. Organized by #NaFFAA Greater Los Angeles Region with the theme of Healing and Unity. Everyone is invited. There will be amazing performers and cool food trucks. Vaccinated people are not required to mask up. But it is strongly suggested for those who are not. City officials are also going to practice social distancing.
Let’s come together in the spirit of camaraderie, and of course, to celebrate Philippine-American Friendship Day!
